About Embraceable Ewe Designs
Experience the joy of owning a custom-made bag that is not only functional but also a true reflection of your personal style.
I’m Heidi Todd Kozar
the creator behind Embraceable Ewe Designs.
Embraceable Ewe began as my knitting design company, but lately I find myself sewing project bags and totes even more than knitting. I have been sewing recreationally and professionally for over 30 years, but feel like bag making is my true happy place.
I started with knitting project bags, but I have expanded into totes, pouches, zippered-box bags, wallets, crossbody bags and hipster bags, or anything that tickles my fancy. I love working with beautiful fabrics to come up with exciting one-of-a-kind combinations. I am busy and I bet you are, too. I don’t want to waste a minute looking for my sunglasses or keys so I have included lots of zippered and slip pockets in every bag to help you stay organized.
I make all my bags in my smoke-free, pet-free studio, using high-quality fabrics and leathers. I love working with these gorgeous textiles to create exciting, unique bags. I hope you love them, too.
Retreat Bag
Dimensions: 18”wide by 8” tall by 6” deep at the base.
The Retreat Bag is my new favorite bag. It has a frame at the top of the bag that holds the bag wide open, like an old fashioned doctor’s or tool bag. These bags have a cork base, double zipper pull to open nice and wide. There is a zippered pocket inside. The bag has 1 ½” nylon webbing straps with a 7” drop.
This particular bag has the natural cork bottom with a lovely teal coral pattern on a pale teal background in cotton lawn. This bag is lined with a aqua quilting cotton and 1 1/2” teal nylon strapping
